Karlynn Holland is an artist living and working in New York City. She studied Visual Arts at the University of Chicago, earning her degree with honors in the college in 2007, and has studied at various other Art and Design colleges across the United States including the Pratt Institute for Art and Design, the New York Academy of Art and the School of the Art Institute, Chicago. Her work ranges in medium and temperament, seeking to illustrate the lyrical passions that haunt this temporary corporeal awareness. She also curates a series of one day art shows at Saint Vitus Bar in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, titled Dreams Were Made For Mortals. The Dreams series seeks to bring together artists working in and inspired by contemporary extreme musical forms.
